BIOGEST® AG has managed to receive another major order.
The Polish city of Lodz is upgrading its stormwater storage volume and therefore has built several rainwater overflow basins on the central sewage treatment plant in Lodz with a total storage volume of 40,000 m³.
BIOGEST® was able to win the contract for the tank cleaning with its flushing system concept for storm basins, which has been successful for decades. As a result, we equip in the storm basins with a total number of 46 flushing gates and the associated electro-hydraulic control system.
The fully automatic flushing system, cleans the bottom of the 27 m or 44 m long flushing lanes after every rain event, thus saving the operator time-consuming cleaning work and the associated costs. In addition, the robust system made of stainless steel is particularly energy-efficient and thus meets the requirements for energy-optimized operation.
The first successful partial commissioning took already place in July of this year.
